Going Into Hospital?
Parishioners are reminded that our local General Hospital (Worthing) does not give a reliable list of names of in-patients to the Chaplaincy Department. This means that should you find yourself admitted as an emergency case to the hospital you will need to inform the staff, either yourself or through a relative, that you are a Roman Catholic and wish the duty Roman Catholic Chaplain to be informed.
If you are being admitted to the hospital as a ‘planned admission’ you are strongly advised to contact the Parish Priest well beforehand so that, if appropriate, the Sacrament of the Sick can be celebrated before you are admitted.
If you are housebound and wish to receive Holy Communion please let Father Liam know. Likewise, if you would like to attend Mass but need transport let Father Liam know and he will try to arrange it – 01903 242624
