We have ten active CAFOD (Catholic Agency For Overseas Development) members but would appreciate more and usually meet twice a year for updates.

We arrange one or two soup lunches every year and try to have a speaker from CAFOD to give us encouragement and ideas. Petitions are signed after all the masses, at the behest of CAFOD, with good response.

Twice a year we have the Lenten and then Harvest events which are well attended and very enjoyable with a two course meal for a small charge, raffle and some music.

Our members are not able to participate in London campaigns too often these days but some new people could inject some life into this.

We also work well with the Justice and Peace movement, run by Ashley Ralston, with neighbouring parishes taking turn to host meetings twice a year often with Cafod representatives informing us of current situations at home and overseas.
